For pride this year, I wanted to include something that spoke to a side of our community that represents freedom of expression.
It’s easy to get caught up in what other people think. We worry about what they will say or if they will approve of our choices, whether it’s the way we dress, the music we listen to, or the way we live our life. And that’s okay! You don’t need everyone’s approval or validation in order to be happy!
Y.A.S is the perfect reminder to always put yourself first and avoid being caught up in other people’s opinions or expectations. After all, this world is your stage to dance on, your runway to pose on, and your show to star on! So go out there and own your moment! Be true to yourself and stay confident, no matter what anyone else says or thinks. And the next time you put on that amazing outfit and you’re afraid of what others might say, just look tall and say YAS! Because, you are sensational!
