2020 has been an unbelievable year so far, and it’s not over yet. Very recently in the US, we've been dealing with some very divisive issues. We've been inundated with news stories about the global pandemic for months, and recently seen civil rights issues spark protests across the country. People on both sides of the political spectrum have been exchanging blows about these topics, and it often seems the country more fractured than ever before - at least if you spend much time on social media or watching the news.

In times like these, we need to remember what the United States is about.  It's a place where people from every corner of the planet have come to create something unique. It's a melting pot in which we get to mix every culture together into vibrant picture that doesn't exist anywhere else. We get to experience the food, the music, the arts and the people from the every walk of life, many times without even traveling outside the state we live in. Think about that for a moment - the reason we love where we live so much is not because of the people who think exactly the same as us - we love it because the people who are different chose to share some of their favorite things with us. That's incredible. 

My hope for this ZOX is that it reminds you of what makes this country so great: the people within in. Divided we fall, united we rise.
