Over the years, we've had a lot of requests for this name to be turned into a strap. And as I thought about the theme of overcoming obstacles this week, there was no name better fitting than this.
If you're unfamiliar, there's a saying that's usually attributed to a greek poet that, roughly translated says "They tried to bury us. They didn't know we were seeds."
Let that sink in for a moment. How many times have you had someone try to make you feel as though your opinion wasn't valid, or your voice wasn't worthy of being heard? I think we can all say we've felt that way a lot - it's far easier to be dismissive of someone who thinks differently than it is to listen or engage.
But that's the beauty of people who stand up for what's right - trying to bury them just makes their voice stronger. And that's my hope for this design. Remember that darkness is only a phase - you'll be growing before you know it.
