Another incredible addition to our Verses series, Take Heart reflects on John 16:33:
"I have told you these things, so that in Me, you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take Heart! I have overcome the world."
You often hear me referencing this idea that I'll be okay, no matter the outcome. This is the verse that comes from.
Worrying is easy - being nervous or anxious about tomorrow is almost second-nature for most of us. It's like we can't help but find something else to obsess over, right?
I love the beginning of this verse - ...so that in Me, you may have peace.
Man that is powerful. Knowing that we don't have to stress is not that easy though, is it? That's why I thought this reminder would be so great - it's a gentle little hug to wear that's always there, reminding you that the plans for your life are far bigger than you possibly know.
I don't know about you but I need that. I hope it helps you as much as it has me.
