When the entire art team sat down to come up with this release, one of the really cool questions we worked off of was simple: How do they make these beautiful colored powders they’re throwing all over the place?
Inspired by one of our most popular Mini-Collections ever (Botanicals), Chelsea set off to create an incredible long form design that incorporated different elements used to create each color.
So you know the how, but now let’s talk about the why.
When writing the card, I was inspired by a quote from Buddha:
“Three things can not be long hidden: The sun, the moon, and the truth.”
Being true to yourself and understanding what you’re life is really comprised of is the key to a life well lived.
So just like we're looking at the flowers used to make the colors of paint, let me ask you this: What ingredients would it take to make the real you? A dash of joy, a sprinkle of snark? Each of us is our own unique mix of character traits that make our experience unique. Knowing the real ‘recipe’ - our hopes, fears, dreams and aspirations - allows us to live our lives to the fullest.
