Move in Silence

When I was 6, my dad took me to go see 3 Ninjas at the movie theater. After we left, I could not stop talking about it - I needed to become a martial arts master to protect my family. Strange how we remember the weirdest things from our childhood, isn't it?

While my dream of becoming a black belt was never realized, I've always been intrigued by the culture, the people who dedicate their lives to becoming absolute masters at something. That's why I love the name Move In Silence so much.

It's easy for us to talk about what we want to do - it happens all the time. We get psyched up for something we've decided we want to pursue and talk about it so much that it actually ends up partially satisfying that desire. You read that right - we can actually talk about a goal so much that we start to get some of the satisfaction of that goal being reached, even though nothing has happened.

In my life, I've learned that to be the most productive, innovative version of myself, I needed to stop talking about what I was going to do and just do it. I need to show the results rather than talking about them.

I needed to Move In Silence.

My hope for this Strap is twofold. First, I secretly hope it inspires you to be a ninja-like that movie did for me. Ninjas are awesome.
