Story
Being of a creative mind can lead to a lot of challenges, mostly because we just want to do what we love every single day. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with words every day, and I get to see other creatives using their talents to bring their ideas to life in the most extraordinary of ways. For everyone, there’s something that drives their daily activity. Whether you love to paint, draw, write, sing, dance, argue in a courtroom, or create culinary masterpieces, there’s something innate that helps you get everything done.
As someone who can relate to wanting to have their creative work finished in their hands, I know how rewarding that can be. And how difficult it can be to hear criticism along the way of getting that project to the point of completion. Some people will never understand why you love what you do, or why you would choose to do that over this other talent you have. Let’s call ‘em naysayers. Those who say, “you can’t do that.”
Unfortunately, critics will always be around. But instead of listening to their words and thinking they’re right, take their words as motivation to prove them wrong. Let this ZOX serve as a constant push to keep doing whatever makes you happy, despite what everyone else says. Let your creativity run wild.
