Dear Universe, I'm ready

Have you ever been in a place where you're willing to try just about anything to be happy again? I think most of us have. We go from one bad thing happening in our lives to the next and it begins to feel like an overwhelming pile up.

I know, it's hard to handle, but it's important to remember what comes next. In 2020 I think a lot of us have felt the fatigue from these kind of feelings and I wanted to make something that reminded you, no matter where you are, that it's okay to be open to change. As weird as it may sound, this next year is probably going to bring about a lot of changes for you and, at first, it'll feel like a second nature to want to reject them. That makes sense - as human beings in general, we're typically very adverse to change. 

I went through this myself this year, selling our home in Los Angeles and moving to Austin. These past few weeks have been filled with trying to find a new office space here - one of the most stressful things I have ever done as it's a BIG move to pack up everything and set it up somewhere new. But like the reminder here on this Strap, I just keep telling myself I'm ready. I've been open to changes and, if I'm honest, it's gone better than I could have ever expected.  

My hope for you, with this wonderful Strap, is that it'll encourage you to do the same. Be okay with the changes that are happening and be excited for the new opportunities that present themselves. Sometimes we find the most happiness in the places where we least expect it.
