Choose Forgiveness

Some people come into our lives that once meant so much to us, only to do something that, at the time, seemed unforgivable. And maybe today it doesn’t seem forgivable, either. All we want is an apology or for that person to make it up to us somehow. 

However, the sad truth of life is that not everyone will recognize their past actions as wrong or hurtful. Not everyone will extend an apology or apologetic action to make up for the hurt inflicted on you once before. 

Though you may not get the apology you deserve, sometimes choosing forgiveness is the best way to overcome something that's holding you back. It won’t be easy, but it could be the key to releasing the pain that’s been hurting you for all these years. You don’t have to forgive and forget, but you can forgive and forge on.
