As a parent of three little ones, one of the most common things people say when they see me with them is "Enjoy it! They grow up so fast."
You don't really realize where that comes from until your kids get older, and you begin to look back at pictures or videos you have of them from their younger years. Their adorable little voices, their funny waddling walks - everything you took for granted back then is now something you wish so badly you could go back to, even if it was for just a moment. In fact I hear many parents explain this feeling as the deepest sadness they ever experience, realizing that those moments can never be relived.
I can attest to that feeling being true, and I think about it every single day now. I desparately want to get better at this myself. I want to stop being so excited for tomorrow and instead get better at being excited about today. I want to remember that I only get this moment in time once, ever, and I have to actually appreciate it rather than only thinking about what's next.
My hope for each of you lucky enough to get this ZOX is the same - that it helps you remember to live in the moment, to appreciate the here and now, and live life to the fullest.
