It's a message that resonates with so many people, and I'm incredibly proud that our little hugs can provide that much-needed beacon of light during difficult times.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI recently came across a quote by Anne Lamont that I feel perfectly captures the idea of this design:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eHope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. They believe in us, even when we doubt ourselves.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eIsn’t it encouraging that even with all of our flaws, our regrets, and mistakes, that those we love still choose to stand beside us through it all? If they can accept those tiny imperfections we make our entire focus, can’t we do that, too? My hope with this ZOX is that it reminds you that what you see in the mirror isn’t the full picture. If you had asked me ten years ago, the answer would have been a resounding yes. As an adult, I’ve found that opening my mind can be applied to more than just food.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eNow I’ve found a love for a variety of foods, music genres, and books. Do you know what the key to this mindset shift was? Ditching my judgments and embracing possibility. More times than not, my choice to try something new has given me amazing experiences. I’m so glad to have this mindset, especially as I integrate into the culture of Austin, Texas. I’ve done a lot in my short time here, and I can’t imagine what it would be like if I had said no to all those opportunities.
