They are extremely close.  Watching my wife deal with the pain of constant vigil for Robin is heartbreaking.  It consumes a lot of her thoughts on almost a daily basis and it crushes her that she is mostly powerless to help her friend with the extreme depression they are feeling and expressing relentlessly.  Knowing what Robin is going through, I can completely understand how they could feel hopeless.  Several lost jobs, one of them an entire career, divorce, child custody battles over a newborn, losing a parent, legal issues, mental health problems, substance abuse issues stemming from these things )and contributing to them)... it's a lot. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRobin has, on multiple occasions, spoken about this despair and how it might be solved through an extreme action. There have been several interventions by my wife and by law enforcement, an ongoing issue for almost as long as I can remember.  While it has been really hard for my wife to constantly attend to this, I know for sure that if she were to lose Robin she would be absolutely devastated. Robin’s child would grow up without a parent, their mother would never forgive herself. To say they'd be missed is a massive understatement - they're incredibly important to a lot of people, even though they don’t think they are. To put it more clearly - Robin matters….and so do you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy hope for you, when you wear this strap, is that it will serve as a reminder that no matter how low you are feeling, you\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eare\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eimportant and people need you. People who are going through immense struggles that I know need a word of encouragement like this to give them a hug - to remind them that they're loved and we're counting on them to make it through. Like 'Today I Will Not Worry' and 'You're Going To Be Okay', this ZOX was made for struggles all of us will endure at one time or another - the ones that take time to heal. \n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eWe all know that life has a way of showing us some real hills and valleys. Sometimes things are great and we're on top of the world - other times, they're incredibly hard and we're just looking for a way back up. Maybe it's the loss of a loved one at a completely unexpected time, or chronic pain that you've been living with for so long now that your life feels defined by it. Maybe it's PTSD from experiences that have shaped who you've become as a person or a wonderful relationship that ended badly and you can not figure out why. Maybe it's the anxiety of not knowing what's next that's making you feel like a deer in headlights every waking moment. The threads of your life that are being sewn together may not make sense now, but someday you'll see the beauty it's created. They give you a hug, then give you a ZOX that makes you tear up, because the words on it are exactly what you've needed to hear for a while now.
