For this one, it was my son Sven.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhen you've got young children who are just learning how to put sentences together, you start to become aware of how often you use the word love. Saying \"I LOVE PIZZA!\" but then telling your 2-year old you love them too is a bit hard for them to understand - are they only as important to you as your pizza? \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAs funny as it sounds, it wasn't until this actually happened to me that I realized how important it was to tell others we love them. On a daily basis, I'll ask Sven \"Did you know daddy loves you?\" His response of \"yeah I know\" stayed the same until just a few days ago. We were driving home and his response was a bit different: \"What does that mean? What is love?\" \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI explained to him that love means you care about someone very very much - they're on your mind in your heart. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI looked in the rearview mirror as I was telling him this. His response was one I'll never forget. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\"I love\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci\u003eyou\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003edad.\" \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNow this isn't the first time he's said that to me, but it was the first time he said it knowing what it really meant. My heart was officially melting. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThat's what this ZOX is all about: It's helping to define what love is before reminding someone how much you care. For some of you, it's a conversation you've never had - that's a serious gift for someone who really needs to hear it. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor me, I've realized that it only was only after I defined what love is that it helped show Sven just how important he was to me. It's at these stretches where you need someone that's along for the ride to help hold you up and support you through the struggle. Depending on what path you're on, it may be your parents, your siblings, your best friend, or your significant other. Most of the photos are completely candid, random moments during the night of people playing games, engaging in conversation, or laughing at one another. I keep a stack of the photos tucked away in a little box to visit from time to time. Those little photos are my happy moments; memories I like to pull out every now and then to cherish and remember. I think each person has something akin to a Polaroid picture that they collect as memory-holders. Collecting each one to think back on in years to come. Whatever it is for you, I hope this Single helps you to start treating each moment that comes as a happy moment to be collected. But even more so is that we have this love of using the distance to the moon as a measurement - 'love you to the moon' is the perfect example of that. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBut when creating this, I wanted the design to be a bit more all-encompassing. I wanted it to remind us that whatever we're looking at, we have no limits. The level of greatness that's achievable in any walk of our lives is only limited by our belief in what we can achieve ourselves - something I really reflected on when writing the card for this one:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e'There are footprints on the moon, my dear. The sky was never our limit.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI've shared a little secret here before but I think it's worth repeating again - any time I write a card using the term 'my dear' - it's a note to my daughter, something I hope she'll discover some day when she's looking back at all the crazy little words of encouragement her dad wrote. And this one - it gets me right in the heart. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI wrote it to remind her that she has no limits. When life gets crazy (pretty much non stop) and I’m not home as much as I’d like to be, those little words are the constant reminder of how much I care. Kara thought it was pretty important as well - she actually had it engraved on the inside of my wedding band. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs Sven gets older, I’ve tried to explain to him what it means. When asked how much I love him, he still says “To”, but we’ll get there. :)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMy hope for this ZOX is that you’ll give it someone who needs the reminder of how much you truly appreciate them.
