In my own life, there are so many moments that, at the time, seemed so incredibly trivial, yet are now the biggest defining characteristics of it:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMeeting Kara (my wife) at my friends apartment in Santa Monica after I nearly gave up because I couldn't find street parking.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWalking into the JoAnn's and Michaels to buy elastic and paint markers to create my very first elastic wristband back in 2010. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMeeting Nick (our amazing CPO and honorary 4th brother) at lunch in downtown LA who just happened to see I was 'making hoodies for tall guys' as we sat with our first pattern maker. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI think that's what is so special about free will. We all get to make our own decisions - we all get to be the authors of our own stories, deciding what the next chapter really has in store. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhen we started working on this design, we kept going back to this idea of using mythical-looking spirit animals - beautiful creatures that symbolize the different strengths and characteristics we hope to have ourselves. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAs you all may have guessed from the Halcyon F\u0026amp;F release previously, I've been on a bit of a mythology kick lately so in addition to all the stunning animals, we also added one of the nine muses in greek mythology known as Terpsichore, the goddess of dance and chorus. I wanted to make sure music was properly symbolized in here and this just felt so right with everything else, especially given the impact that music has on each of us.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe result of that is one of the prettiest patterns I have ever seen us make, and it's one I'm so excited to finally be releasing. This connection to the cosmos is so much more than just a scientific fact (97% of atoms in our body are the same as what's found in space), it's a poetic reminder of our intrinsic link to the truly unknowable universe.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAnd I think this design perfect portrays that magic in a way that's just so incredibly special. It's like a visual ode to our journey as wanderers, constantly searching, evolving, and dreaming in this vast expanse we call life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's quite intriguing, isn't it? How every memory we hold, every dream we chase, and every experience that shapes us is a part of this vast cosmic dance. The intricate paths we tread are like the countless routes a compass rose might point to, leading us through it all with the utmost care. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI wanted this ZOX to serve as a reminder that we are, at our very core, a collection of unique thoughts, diverse experiences, and boundless dreams.
